Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen, a Vietnamese American businesswoman, lives in Orange County California. I have a wonderful fiance named JP along with a very unhappy father Henry. People know me best through my Instagram page, @annephung. This is where I share my tale of highs, lows and all in between. I arrived in America with my parents and brother in the year 1990. At one and a half years older. I wouldn't be here sharing my life for you were it not since my parents were devoted to hard work and sacrifice. Knowing I had an opportunity for a better life, I aimed to be their proudest and was a shrewd entrepreneur in the direction of success. I had a plan to attend school in order to finish my studies and secure an employment that was good. After that, I was looking for an empathetic wife and children. It was my idea of what success would look like. But life had other thoughts. The year 2013 was the year I began dreading going to my corporate job the money and status did not bring me joy- I felt that I was throwing my time and energy in exchange for a salary even though I knew I was meant for more. I possessed a love of working out and I enjoyed getting out and about with friends. as I navigated towards my new career path. I found my calling in personal training. My business started in 2014 and I'm celebrating 7 years of success in the year 2021. It is rare to find an Asian female in the business. My goal in this industry is to help create a healthy and sustainable lifestyle that meets the needs of my customers. I also strive to empower individuals to follow their goals and achieve whatever they would like to in life. As my professional career took off I also lost my mom. This loss is the worst of all. To be in Heaven she now rests in peace after a long battle with Scleroderma. Yet, I keep the memory of her daily. It's amazing how the world gives us exactly the lessons we need even when we do not realize it. My Mom's passing changed me in many ways, and I believe my mom gave me a second opportunity to live my life after her death. She passed away in the morning of Tet/Lunar New Year Day. It was the day she decided to begin her new life. I had my second chance to live a happy and fulfilled life. Now into my 30's I'm alive and alert. of the fact that I live my life now instead of merely surviving as I did in the past. As I share the story of my life, it is to ensure that other people are able to relate to my experiences and thoughts. To know that they're not on their own. It is also a sign of true love. Also that therapy is a necessity and it isn't unusual. Finally that health is your biggest wealth. I pray to live your every moment to the fullest and have a end is without regrets because that's all we can count on for the rest of our lives.
