Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the age of 14. Along with BJJ She also took classes in boxing, wrestling and kickboxing. At age 18, Ladd made her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd had an amazing 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In each of the three bouts she beat her opponent within the first round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia beat Aspen and beat her in a an unanimous vote to remove an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from the loss with a win over Roma Pawelek in Tuff-N'-Uff, which brought her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score TKO victory in the opening round. Invicta Fighter Championships 16. Aspen won her next bout against Amanda Cooper through a second-round submission via armbar. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to take out McGill via TKO in the third-round (elbows & punches). Aspen then went on to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 at a catchweight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not able make the weight, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final match in the organization. The winner was Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd competed in her UFC debut against Lina Ladsberg. She dominated Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round later in the 2nd. She remained dominant, and won an even bigger victory against Tonya Avinger in UFC 229 with her next fight. Ladd finished Evinger in the opening round. She also received an outstanding performance bonus. Sijara Eubanks from Invicta FC was her opponent in an rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against Lee. It was the fighter's debut major fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in an intense fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. Yana Knitskaya, in the UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In a recent match replacement to UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
