Richard B. Cheney an eminent public servant and entrepreneur is vice-president of the United States. Cheney is a recognizable name in Washington for many years. George W. Dick Cheney is a former chief of the staff of presidents, worked in Congress, and he was also secretary of Defense. Both Republicans and Democrats admire him for his honesty and integrity. Cheney stated that his role as a member of the Bush administration will be that of an open but discreet adviser. Cheney has accepted the Republican vice-presidential nominating in 2007 stated that his hopes were high for serving under a president that will reach across the aisles and work with political rivals by fostering goodwill and working towards a common objective. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th, 1941) was the son Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been wed with Richard Herbert Cheney for over thirty years. In the age of thirteen, Richard moved his family out of Nebraska and moved to Casper where his dad was the director of the U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservancy district.
